We don’t charge a penny until you have seen a first draft and want to move forward.  We’re also happy to discuss your requirements that don’t quite fit within the examples below.  But here’s a guide to three typical ways we help for 7-10 minute social speeches (there is more detail on each below the table):

 Editing Service

The Process: You’ve already tried to put a speech together but it just doesn’t feel right. We send you a proposal for how to improve it, covering content, language, style and structure.  If you want to move ahead then we will re-write the draft for you.

The Aim: To re-write your speech to make the most of the ideas and details you have already put into a draft, but making them much more impactful and easy to deliver.

The Result: “Thank you so much for your input… fantastic. The speech now hangs together really well and flows.  It has been such a heavy week at work and your help has been brilliant.”

The Price: Typically £200 +VAT (charged only after you have received a first draft that you like)

Brief, Write and Edit Service

The Process: We meet up or arrange a phone call to discuss your speech in detail. We write a draft for you from scratch followed by as many edits and conversations as required until you are entirely happy with it.

The Aim: To write you a speech that is original, relevant and punchy and that you will look forward to practicing and delivering on the day.

The Result: “I just read the draft and I think it is ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT! I don’t know how you managed this but it flows perfectly, has the right balance between fun and sincerity and it nails the groom.”

The Price: Typically £400 +VAT (charged only after you have received a first draft that you like)

Brief, Write, Edit and Delivery Service

The Process: We meet up or speak in some detail. I come back to you with a draft. We edit it as appropriate and then meet again for a 90 minute session to develop the speech further and work on your delivery.  Followed by further conversations and a phone rehearsal shortly before ‘D’ day.

The Aim: For you to deliver with real confidence and energy a speech that is original, relevant and punchy.

The Result: “By far and away the best investmest I have ever made.  I will never write another speech without you.  It went down a treat with reaction such as ‘Best’ and ‘Amazing’.  So pleased and thanks.”

You may also choose for us to typeset and print your speech onto presentation cards. This costs £20 + VAT, including UK delivery.

I can also arrange for you to receive an audio version of your speech that you can download onto your computer or iPhone.  This also costs £20+VAT.
